Keeping The Faith

July 8th, 2009 by kwhitney

Faith is like a graden. It must be weeded and sown…maintained constantly.  We must survey our garden of faith regularly, and yank out the weeds of fear and doubt.  We also must plant new seeds continuously.  Seeds of hope, promise, blessings, abundance, connectivity, consciousness, and love.  We say to each other, “Keep the Faith”, like it is as easy as holding on to a lucky penny.  No! It takes work.  What we really should be doing is to offer a hand to help someone keep the faith. We should offer to help survey the garden of faith if it is needed, or to get down on our hands and knees and help yank the weeds of fear or doubt.  Or, even more important, to help someone know that the seeds of love and hope are possible, even when that person can’t see it for himself.  We must be stewards of good faith!
